Valrhona - Chocolate guanaja cacao

Guanaja is a complex blend of aroma profiles of typical cocoa beans from Trinidad, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Madagascar to create a unique taste. The name Guanaja echoes the first cocoa beans given to Christopher Columbus when he landed on the island of Guanaja in 1502. The balance and bitterness of Guanaja are harmoniously extended by the roasted notes of the cocoa bean slivers.
